No. There was no newsletter yesterday. I am trying to make up for it today with this one, but I will not be apologizing for not posting yesterday.
I love my planners. I love working with planning and all that that entails.
The day before yesterday, when I sat down to write yesterday’s newsletter, I was tired of writing about what I was planning to do in my planners…when I honestly wanted to do was WORK in my planners.
Then, yesterday, we had appointments out the wazu; I had an injury from somewhere; whatever sickness I have been battling for the past two weeks decided that yes, now is the time to progress that much more so that I couldn’t function at my best.
And so, no apologies there. It was a rough rough day.
So, shall we continue the month with more planner stuff?
I am about to start making planner videos. I have a bit more equipment now. I have a bit more time now.
That won’t have anything to do with today. It’s only a hey, this is coming soon kind of thing.
I received an order from Archer & Olive yesterday. (No. That is not an affiliate link. I just love them.) The journals have a cat on one and a raven on the other. Plus, I was able to buy the Tannenbaum journal as well which I will be using for the Winter holidays/December.
Pulling those gorgeous notebooks out of their beaten-up packaging yesterday (it was merely a brown padded envelope) started me thinking.
Since becoming a Passion Planner Ambassador (if you want 10% off your entire purchase, especially as the 2023 planners have been released as of today, please use my affiliate code : TABITHAL487), I tried to push myself into the whole Passion Planner as my main planning source and planner.
To be honest, I am not sure how to do that.
I printed out an A4 daily planner, which you can find here for free, as well as a couple of the inserts, like the habit tracker, monthly reflection, self-care reflection (one per month), and a weekly overview. I hole-punched the lot and stuck them all in order in a binder so it would be usable. I printed out only a single month because 1) this is the last month of the quarter and 2) I have a couple of random daily planners that could be used for this last quarter of the year coming up once we reach October. I only needed a single month. That is the joy of these printables. You can only print what you need.
Now, I have this binder/daily planner set up and ready…and as I am setting up my September planners…I honestly have no clue what the heck to do with the daily planner now.
I have my Passion Planner weekly. That is my staple planning things out and keeping track of appointments keeper. That’s good. My PrintPression weeks journal has become my go-to for daily weather tracking, sleep tracking, and microjournaling. I am excited to show you that one once I get the video up. I have my everyday Bullet Journal for, ya know, memory keeping, to-do lists and random planning of things, and keeping of weird information and collections. Where the heck does the Passion Planner Daily come in?
My new Weeks cover, for whatever reason, has thrilled me to no end and I would rather work in that one than the printed-out binder planner.
I am also rather excited to create my own weekly planner for the coming year. I am thinking, thanks to Archer & Olive, of perhaps using an A5 … and of making it one of the artsy planner-type things. I am capable of doing that. I miss doing my art. Plus, I have the supplies on hand to make things work.
It is probably not going to translate too my scruffy monthly journals, but to be able to work in a single planner for an entire year to decorate it by hand, that sounds fun, relaxing, and fascinating to try.
Hopefully, this newsletter makes up for missing yesterday’s newsletter.
Shall I continue on with my planning/planner September…or are you ready for a new topic here?
